[hus] is proud to offer two different and exciting lines of jewelry, Efva Attling Stockholm and Cornelia.

Efva Attling was born in Stockholm. She made her first piece of jewelry when she was eleven years old. At the age of sixteen, she was a pupil of one of Sweden's greatest silversmiths, Bengt Liljedahl. Eileen Ford spotted Efva when she was seventeen and a twelve-year modelling career began. With music in her family and in her heart, Efva started a band in 1981 called the X Models. The band had a huge hit song in the 80's called "Two of us", which Efva composed.

Efva has also worked with design in different forms over the years. She has designed clothes for Levi's and H&M, and today she designs eyewear for Scandinavian Eyewear and crystal glass for Orrefors; both lines available at [hus].

Since 1996 she is back where she once started; working with silver, gold and precious stones. Efva often places thoughtful expressions on her jewelry; she calls this "beauty with a thought".

Cornelia is a Swedish label created and run by designer Cornelia Webb. This former medical student launched her first full jewelry collection in 2005. Cornelia created jewelry to bring some dynamics and creativity to her spare time. Soon the personal seductive jewelry with a humorous edge created a buzz and caught the eye of style-icon Nina Person from "The Cardigans". After showing up at the MTV Awards wearing Cornelia, the brand was off to a flying start.

True to the handicraft and uniqueness of every piece, Cornlia now employs inmates to realize her designs. This is both a step in motivating people through creating beautiful things with their hands and a way to keep production close and limited.

Cornelia believes that there are no rules mixing gold with silver, adding red copper to yellow brass like a lawless. Large shark teeth, horn from the north of Sweden and semi-precious stones adds a natural aspect to the metal chain and charms. Always with an awareness of their symbolic values and with a rare feeling for balance, the designer combines contrasts creating timeless and unique pieces with grace and humor.
